Megan Racing OE-RS series cat backs are based on factory style, with bigger piping, OEM style polished mufflers and quiet sound. The cat back system is made stainless steel. All pipiing are mandrel bent with a high polished finish. Exhaust system comes with all the necessary hardware needed for a direct bolt on installation. Improves HP with minimal noise.

Spec:

* 100% stainless steel with polish finish * Producing strong, deep and noticable sound * Gain more horse power, faster response * Comes with gasket and hardware * Warranty included

I'm hoping it sounds and works good...

Anyone here ever use one of these setups? If so what are your thoughts about it (sound, durability, ease of install)?

Your gonna like it it sounds great. Don't use their gaskets tho get new ones as for the install I had my local midas install it they charged me $80 plus another $60 to have a second hanger welded on they did it in half an hour. I'll post a pic of where the second hanger was welded on, you deffinatly need it or it will bang into one of the factory hang points. Deffinatly a good choice I love mine.

Yeah I'm pretty amped about this purchase... I'll pick up headers, a stainless cat and a y-pipe sometime after this winter to compliment this setup.

Johnnyd: did this exhaust help your throttle response and/or give you a power increase? ... if so, at what rpms?

I sold mine quickly. hopefully yours won't turn out as bad as mine.

I had fitment issuses and with header and ypipe you can just forget about a quiet cabin ride. It rattled everything too.

when it was just a catback tho. I loved it.

I didn't get headers or a y-pipe.

I definitely want "more business" in my exhaust note, and would like a bit of vibration, but not too dang much.

I definatly noticed a decent all around hp increase but more so on the highway... much easier to pass cars at 75-85 now plus it definatly gives some great low end pull. I'm gettin out of work earily tomorow so Ill post the pic of my second hanger, you deffinalty will need it to keep it from banging too much.

Thanks johnny, I'll make sure my shop gets the info you forward me.

Argh, sportcompactwarehouse ran out of stock of this exhaust... I gotta order it from elsewhere and prolly eat a bigger shipping charge. ... and I lost a couple days... Phooey. Oh well, sometimes you gotta wait for the good things in life...
