Please list if your SR and car have been modded or are stock.

Type of car and year?Which year SR did you have? What speeds did you top out at?About how long did it take you to top out?

and just some more out of curiousity..

What's your best 1/4 mile run?what's your best 0-60?What was the fastest car you draged?Which of these have you beaten?

If you think of anything else while filling this out just toss it in. :D

Read the sig about the car, quarter times, and mods. I've taken my car to 164mph before and it was still climbing very slowly as my tires that are rated for 155mph started to shake :ylsuper . It doesn't take more then a minute from 80mph to get there, but I never really kept track at how long it was taking. I know my speeds through my Blitz SBC-ID III. Fastest car's I've beaten (at the track) are the Evolution, C5 Corvette, and Lightning. The rest of the cars I've raced either lost BAD or won by a long shot (drag cars).

My 5th gear cut hits at about 135mph.

http://www.racingonthestreet.c...h.AVI

But I have 245/50R16 tires, which are decently larger than stock. At the track on my speedo I was traping at about 90mph, on the track's radar I was at about 102mph. So with that, I raced a 351 mustang up to 135 on my speedo (pulled like a mother when he hit 5th), so I took it up to about 145-150. Pretty quick.

The needle hit the reset button on the trip meter, and it was still pulling.

Anybody know what 7200rpm in 5th gear is with a Z32 rear diff?

My car hits the 5th gear limit at 135 also.

I have a Z32 TT dif and I have MASSIVE TALL gearing. However it doesn't seem to make that much HP to get it there. That and I think the ECU still has the stock govt limit.

That video was with an S13 SR20DET w/T25@8psi (stock boost). I hit 145-150mph @10psi at night (cooler = faster). All with the T25.

With my big tires I can probably hit 135 in 4th, with a different rear end or slightly higher revs 140 in 4th isnt too far off. Very possible. With stock gears, stock revs, stock tire diameter, etc. SR can hit about 125 in 4th gear. Check out the video.... I shifted out of 4th at about 122mph and it wasnt even totally redlined.

ya i have a Kaaz 2 way slip and 17s with 225/45's....so my cluster is obviously not EXACT with my actual speed....it also only goes up to 110 but this thing was BURIED.....u can approximate the 10MPH intervals after 110

My Turbo timer has a speed thingie on it (Greddy), I don't have it hooked up though. Which wire on the ECU would be for speed? That would be a nice way to measure speed. It's as inacurate as the stock speedo, but it will continue to read after 120mph.

The video I posted:

http://www.racingonthestreet.c...h.AVI

That was only 135mph. I don't have a video of the 150mph. It was just a street race. That video was just me screwing around on the way to work.

Fastest car i've dragged was a WRX that was in town for a rally event. We went from 40-120mph and he was actually able to toy with me and I was running 8psi, at 12psi he couldnt play as much but had no problem keeping up with me.

Car i'm most proud of beating is these dudes in a New porsche carrera, they pulled up next to me at a light and I revved up, they looked over like 'damn ricer this is a porsche' then when the light turned green we went at it, I beat him by like 2 cars. It was one of the greatest feelings ever. Smoking those dude was better than sex!

95 240sxRed top sr172 mphafter 160 it was slow getting up there but I could have gone a little more but ran outta road/ballz. :D I was using a gps for the speeds and also using my Apexi Avcr to log the fastest speeds.

I trap 112 in the 1/4 with an unimpressive 13.1 This is on 275/40/17's Kumho Mx's. Lots of wheel spin, could really use a set of slicks but just dont drag race enough to justify the cost of rubber and rims.

I was going to get some Kumo MXs, but I got nitto drags instead. I'm sure glad I did. I had kumo 712s before and they only lasted me about 8k before they were unusable. I think the nittos will last longer even with 100 treadwear because they don't spin so easily. Those kumos were like iceskates.
