Hey guys, I've been looking into upgrading my IC but very short on cash....so..i've been doing some reading about upgrading to different SMIC unit. I searched but couldn't really find the answer i'm looking for. so here's the questions.

- i'd rather avoid messing with the piping so of course, my choice would be S15 SMIC, or ARC SMIC. Anyone here have these? if so, what kindna set up you running and what do you think the units will handle? (I'm only looking into boosting 10-13lbs, stock T25)- I have had many recommendation about the Supra TT, FD, and 1g dsm units, my question is...is it worth it to get custom piping done? My friend said he would sell me the FD unit for like $30...but how much boost do they hold safely?- anyone here use the SMIC w/ hard pipe (cold section) if so, where can i find it? If i am to get it custom made at local Muffler shop, how much do you guys think it would cost?

Thanks for readingTao

i believe rico05 has an arc smic on his ca, probably many people will tell you though arc makes arguably the best intercoolers, so thatd probably be my pick...

id actually like to get an arc core with endtanks and make custom piping to have one of their fmic's with my ka-t

I run 11psi on an ARC M070 SUper Side Mount. MSRP is $900 in Japan, but eBay has them from time to time. I got mine from a guy in JDM land. As for piping, I HAD to go custom, but you having an SR means that you can get a hotpipe anywhere, but a coldpipe may have to be custom. I love having a sidemount as it does not block precious radiator air flow and it is very inconspicious.
