I've run into a road block with deciding what suspension setup to purchase for my car. I'm debating between full coilovers, and a strut/sleeve coilover setup. I'm looking at Tein HE full coilovers as one choice. Ground Control Coilovers, GAB Super Strokes, SPL adjustable tension rods or Tein, and front tein pillowball mounts as the other setup. What setup would you go with for mostly street, but a few times on the track when I can get on it? I've searched on this topic, but couldn't get enough info to make a decision. I really would like to ride in a car with comparable setups, but no one has anything close to either of these setups by me.

IMO, coilovers are a waste of money on a mostly street, daily driver. I am running the Eibach sportlines (2" drop) and its got a low enough crouch. just fine enough for speed bumps, and most steep driveways. although once i get some sideskirts, itll look lower, and ill have to be more careful.

as far as struts go (yes, get them at the same time) i was going to go tokicos, til the guy at the shop i went to why not go adjustable for $7 more each. so now i am running AGXs. 4 way adjustable in front, 8 in the rear. just enough so you can soften it up while you drive to work, then stiffen it up when you hit the track. i think the whole setup i got installed for like $650, and i couldnt be happier with it.

i have kyb agx's, with eibach sportlines. best set up for the $ IMO. i can go to the autocross, set it up stiff while i'm there, then set it back to a softer setting before i leave. it's perfect! i got the agx's for $370 (all four) at http://www.coximport.com
