I've been looking for a fun 2nd car, after seeing gregs vert build I have been in love with the 240sx vert. I have never owned a 240sx and the buyers guide has been a great help in weeding out the bad ones I come across. Thanks Krash. :dblthumb: This is one I came across on CL, its not too far from me in PA and I wanted your opinions from what little Info I have at this moment. The guy has had it for a month and claims a child on way as reason for selling, this could be likely however thats a great way to pass something that has serious problems. Here is the posting.

I have my 93 convertible nissan 240sx for sale. its a 5 spd swapped vert with 148 and runs awesome. Its in amazing shape and the top works great. It has a tear in the rear window but its covered with clear tape and doesn't leak. The car has fortune auto coilovers and 17 inch xxr 962's. It also has a cold air intake and a full exhaust. It has a very clean interior with black leather seats and new black carpet. I have to sell this asap because I have a kid on the way and need a daily driver.

The car looks familiar, have I seen it here on nico before? Do you guys recognize it?

The bad, when I see this car in person I will definately be looking under the rear seat for rust.

Fortune Auto is awesome! I've never owned a pair, but I plan on getting them when I do get coils. They seem legit. The only problem I'd have with that car is the back window. Show around for quotes on replacement and then use that to bring him down a couple hundred. I'd pay $2800-3000 for that car.

Found out the cars not inspected. My wife is also not on board with the whole idea of another car. Told the guy I'm gonna have to pass on it B/C of her and the price. He brought it down to $2000!!
