I'm looking at rims and a lip for my rear bumper

what do you think of these rims?



i photoshopped them onto my car....

I can't decide whether I want just a chrome lip, or chrome all out

As for the rear lip on the bumper, what is gonna give it a nice feel

In my opinion, dark cars SCREAM for chrome (shiny) wheels. Just my opinion, and it doesn't mean those wheels don't look good.

That wheel is pure sex. However since your car is dark it is screeming for a little chrome. Unless you into the total black color.

I like those rims...but I also love chrome on dark cars. Especially with the chrome trim on the black...

Ahhh my eyes my eyes!!! Chrome wheels very very very very rarily look good unless they are simple with few angles.....imo the black with the lip are the best.....also chrome wheels weigh so much so your car becomes slower, takes longer to stop, and handles worse.....the only good thing about chrome wheels is you can check to see if there's food in your teeth when you're checking tire pressure.

I personally love black rims with chrome lip on a black car. I like those rims a lot. I think you just sold me on those for my car.

I'm going to smack both of you for super-imposing those rims onto that pic.

The first one just looks horrible and the second one looks like negative 3 degrees camber in the rear and positive 2 degrees in the front

I'm not a big fan of chrome, but the those are nice. The black ones are so so.

I would go with some matte black ones

As far as the bumper... whatever you like. I rarely notice them.

I 2nd Sentient...you need a huge alignment job done, now! In fact I think your back wheel is facing backwards.

I also 2nd, 3rd, 4th, whatever we're on now, the all chrome. Something clean though.

chekc out the lorenzo wl 19. thats a good clean 5 spoke wheel. and honestly if your gonna do a black rim you can do MUCH better then the one shown above. IMHO. i personally think your car would look good wwith a more web look if yo u go black. but if you go chrome go simple 5 spoke or split 5 spoke. im personally looking for rims for my sedan and im trying to find perfection too.

I too am a designer, and also have a black G, I'm torn between the two myself, I know 1 thing, they gotta be 20s.

I'll probably go chrome or graphite... definately chrome lip though, with a sick offset.

I recently saw a charcoal/bronze colored set on a G coupe. They epitomized sexy. I'll have to do some searching to see if I can find them.

I would avoid 20s like the plague. I bought my G for performance. Putting 20s on it would be like slapping a prius muffler on the G.
