YOur opinion on this CLUTCH KIT ?

I think its about time to replace my clutch... I was wondering what your opinion is on it.

exactly what my brother got. However, search for daikin (same company as exedy but lower price on ebay). He got it because according to reviews, this is the best clutch for the money which will provide "OEM" feel. I heard exedy actually made the original clutches for our cars, but don't know how true this is.

I wanted a bit more bite to my clutch ... so this isnt gonna do it for me ? I dont mind a little stiffer clutch pedal or anything. I just need more holding power and more bite.

to tell you the truth, I don't know how it'll bite. We are installing it as we speak. However, you should get more bite than your worn out clutch I'd say. I think exedy also carries a "street version" clutch that runs for like 240$ on ebay.

is it really exedy? cause the price is like.. 100+ but if you look at the other auctions, hes selling it for 400+ for honda engines

yep, it's exedy, sorry about the misinfo, the 240$ one is for sr20, we only get an "oem" one from exedy. Same goes to other manufacturers like honda, who get higher stage clutches than us ka folks.

ima try and get that kit for my replacement next friday (finally fixing my car) prob is i wont have the money untill the 4th, and it ends in like 6 days or what not, so its kinda a prob, unless someone will gladly buy it for me an ill buy it from them next friday when i get paid!!

The ACT clutch kit for the SR has an exedy disc if you buy the street/strip disc. The only diff. is the ACT heavy duty pressure plate i guess.
