More important than what side the gas door is on, is why people don't seem to be able to pull in on the right side! I've been meaning to start a little documentary on this since I finally got a camera phone. I swear, every time I go to Costco Gas at least 50% of the people have the pump stretched all the way over their car because they pulled into a pump on the wrong side... wtf?

I liked it when it was behind the license plate, you never had to wait for an open pump for the right side of your car?!?!

Also made it easier when I was pumping gas for a living .

The Pinto was NOT the only car made this way. Nearly every car of the 70's/early 80's had this and not ever car was considered a rolling fuel bomb.
