1988 Nissan Sentra XE. 90-hp, air conditioning that stopped working, parts fell off as I moved about.

Drove the crap out of it after getting rear-ended three times and bending the frame.

It was almost fun to drive... almost.

4 Door B12 Sentra auto. That car took a good beating and kept on running.

94 Saturn SL2. Reliable, but there was absolutely no mods for it. It had to go.

Vash: That's a bada$$ first car. I might do a project 944 once I get some scratch together for it.

My first car was a very lightly used '96 Saturn SL2, so a second-gen 4-door 5spd. Not a terrible car, but not exciting either. Good stiff chassis, better power than all but an EX Civic, but in retrospect I should listened to my parents.

They offered to get me an FC Turbo II listed in the paper, but for some dumb reason I wasn't really into Japanese cars at the time. I'm an IDIOT.

Hashiriya, yeah it was a great car. I never got my lisence until I was 18 but worked since I was 15 so I had lots of time to save up for my first car. Paid $6K for it w/ 75K miles. Ended up selling it for $8K 4 months later and buying a Pristine 10AE '88 Turbo II FC w/ lots of extra money left over.

Turned down an TII FC? I hope you cry yourself to sleep every night and feel like less of a man for it!

BTW, Ivory, I love those 1st gen MR2s.

A Daihatsu Charade? Holy crap. I've seen those... I'm amazed they can go up hills, or driveways even.

Nismofly, I bought it back in June of '01 after I graduated Highschool. It was in excellent condition asides from the fact that someone broke the driver's side window, stole the stereo and ripped up the leather driver's seat. Bought it as-is from an older gentleman who barely drove anyway. His loss, my gain. Definitely a steal The price has really skyrocketed in the last 3 years. Kinda like the 240SX and AE86 Corolla GT-S.... once people caught on to how cool they are, the prices really jumped up.

that car was so much fun!! like 2100 lbs.

like any teenager speeding at the wheel of an MR2, i wrecked it real bad.

kicked the *** out going 70 around a 20 mph curve, and slid right into a jeep cherokee going around 50-60. walked away without a scratch.

once i satisfy off my 4 door sleeper kick, ill get another one.

It was a 1990 Mitsu Galant, Midnight Blue.

No mods, nothing special, except for all the play I got in it.

Very cool... You can still pick up nice... and I do mean NICE mid to low mileage NA 944s for Under $5K rather easily. I just saw a few on Autotrader. I'd love to get my hands on a 968 though... it's the evolution of the 944. It's gorgeous and has a HUGE 3.0 Liter 4 cyl motor w/ a 6speed. The Turbo S makes 305Hp & 369 ft/lbs (!!!). Damn cool car. Still not cheap enough though..... One day....one day...
