So I had my first ride in a SR powered car...whoa...its was an eye opener...made the ride home w/ my KA a bit BLAH.

The guy I rode with was only boosting like 8-10 psi....I can only imgaine what a 14 psi car feels like...

my first ride was decent.. noticed the lower torque difference on an sr but the sudden jolt from going to 0 to full boost is quite the thrill ride

That's funny, mine too! LoL! I believe that a ride in a sr is an eye-opener to the NA KA guys, but I wonder what the first ride in a KAT is like?!? More torque and turbo..... OOOO... That is my future plans. Turbo the KA24E.... Might be a few years but hey, it's only a LONG term goal! "Then I woke up...." And realized: WHERE YOU GONNA GET THE MONEY!!!!

LoL

WOW...I did not realize how much power the domestics have over our imports...How much power would an SR have to make to keep up with those guys? How Much RWHP???

Actually all my friends tell me my reasonably well sorted SR can take the Z28's..

I dunno, I guess only one way to find out..

My first ride was horrible becuase there was a vaccum leak and the bov wasnt releasing any air. It was slow. But when he got it fixed, i heard it was really fast and then he sold it.

My First offical ride blew balls b/c i thought that the car was done. Well i got around the block slowly reved it up to 2.5k then i punched it i herd a loud thump. I thought it being New Orleans its was another pothole that appears out of the vastness of space. Come to find out it was my cold pipe disconnecting from my I/C .Then i run out of gas even though my gauge reads 1/4 tank then i kicked the **** out of my car for about an hour or so.

But when it was done i had a smile from ear to ear and i still do.:D

My KA chirped 3rd gear. When I first got my SR I had some cheap firestone tires that were balled. I took it down the street slowly, then took off in 1st gear and it was slow as hell, in 2nd it wasnt too bad. Then my friend who was behind me told me I was spinning 1st and most of 2nd. I didnt even notice because those tires are queit when they lose traction and I wasnt paying attention. Pretty funny..

I never drove an SR powered 240 yet.I recently drove a 91 talon tsi, running 19 psi, it had some hks cams, a lighweight flywheel, a stiff as hell act clutch, S-AFC and a few other things. That car was fast, it really makes me want to get an SR, that's why i'm just saving my money right now.

On a side note does anyone know how much psi a s15 t28 turbo can handle, on say stock injectors and mafs, but an upgraded fuel pump. does any also know how much hp this would make?
