I love the G-Nose. If I had an S30, I would definitely stick the G-Nose on it.

More G-Nose love:

The G-Nose is really the Nissan Fairlady 240ZG, originals were never sold outside of Japan. After the Z432R, the 240ZG has to be my favorite S30.

Not digging the G-nose for some reason, looks good but not as good as a stock USDM S30. However my favorite Zcar is the early Z31 (84-86) which many find very dated looking, but I love it.

uh, i beg to differ. diet coke may still be a Coca-Cola product but it aint coke.

I know you have a 240z in your stable Evildky but seriously, MOST of us with a 240z would tend NOT to say they are "essentially the same car". i originally wanted a 280z but was talked out of it (thank gawd) and after test driving several stock cars from 1970-1978 i could feel the difference in the 240z and knew i had to choose it over a 260 or 280.

at car meets, its the folks with the 280s that say "they are essentially the same car" and do appearance mods to make their 280s look like 240s...not the other way around.

Am I 240z snob...yeah, i love em so much i bought 2! Not sure i would ever buy any other S30. I say all of the above with a little laugh but with serious intent. the 240z deserves its own spotlight and the accolades it has earned. An old frience once said to me regarding difference: the 240z is the show/race pony: nimble, sexy and sometimes unrully but the unique. The 280z is the work horse, bigger and stronger but heavier, incumbered by the burdens of the needs of the masses (ac, sound deadening insulation, safety lol).

Long live the Z

I started off with a 280Z, and they are essentiallyt he same car, as far as most people are concerned, for a colector it's all about the 240, actually it's all about the early production series 1 chassis for the real colector snobs, we have a local guy with a 77 he bought new, 3, 71's (2 are series 2) and just got #76 because he wanted a low vin

external sheetmetal si the same 70-78 aside fomr the hood vents, and the valance panel's, actually the series 1 chassis has less in common with the series 2 240 than the 240 has in common wiht the 280

but on the voting think, some might argue that the Z31 should be split into 2, the "zenki" and "kouki" which is think is retarded but some people obsess

I really like my Z31, but I really like the S30s, though I've never owned one, I favor the S30....like a 1971.

I know Nissan 370Z, but in Country of the Ascending Sun of him name Fairlady Z. In Japan sportkupe will be offered with the same 337-strong motor V6 3.7-with a capacity of one the liter, and which works in a pair with 6-stupenchatoy "mechanics" or 7-stupenchatim submachine "gun". Both you know already, a new machine combines in itself the elements of design, as modern, and classic the Z models. A car is easier than predecessor, can boast by more high-quality materials of finishing and advanced "filling" (like a hard disk for storage of music and powerful navigation system). As well as it is fixed to the sporting "shell", Fairlady Z is equipped by powerful brakes and system of the VDC stabilization.

Datsun 810. It's pretty much an S130 with a clean sedan body. What's not to love?

The Series 1 Z's and the 87-89 Z31's both are nice in my book.

I guess I'll just have to do with my '71. Oh damn.
