Some corrections:
rsmithdrift wrote:All years were available as turbo, N/A or 2+2 and in GL or GLL format (analog or digital dash interior)
Actually, the GLL was the auto climate control. For 84-86, the digital gauges were standard GLL options, but for 87-89, the digital gauges were a seperate option.
rsmithdrift wrote:and all were available with T-Tops or Hardtop.
Only 1984 had a slicktop roof for all models. Starting in 1985, all slicktops were 2 seater NAs.
rsmithdrift wrote:All GLL's came with digital dash
All digital dash cars are GLLs. All 84-86 GLLs are digital dash. Not all 87-89 GLLs are digital dash.
rsmithdrift wrote:and radio controls.
The only 1984 models with radio controls were the 50th Anniversary Editions
rsmithdrift wrote:Leather was available all years.
Standard on the 1984 GLL models, optional on all models after that.
rsmithdrift wrote:All year Turbo's came with 5 lug 16" wheels,
1984 (non-AE) and 1985 turbos were the same 15" style wheels as the NAs, just with 5 lugs.
rsmithdrift wrote:front lip, spoiler, and 3 way adjustable suspension.
Suspension exception being the 1988 SS models.
rsmithdrift wrote:All N/A's came with 15" wheels. The 2+2's all came an extra 2 inches longer in the roof behind the t-tops.
I believe the length is actually a little more than 2 inches, but I haven't actually measured.
rsmithdrift wrote:The 84-85 turbo's came with a hood scoop and 84-86 turbo's came with tinted tail lights.
1984 turbos had the same tail lights as the NA models.
rsmithdrift wrote:All cars in 86 came with a spoiler and side skirts. All cars 86-89 came with 5 lug wheels. The 84-85 came with that wierd two bar steering wheel and 86-89 came with either a 3 prong wheel or a 4 prong wheel with radio controls.
84 and 85GL steering wheels were all the same. AE and 85GLL wheels featured radio controls. 86-89 GL wheels were 3 spoke. 86-89 GLL wheels were 4 spoke with radio controls.

Vinyl actually.
rsmithdrift wrote:Analog dash was orange from 84-86 and white from 87-89. The motor made 5 extra ponies from 88-89 and the car weighed 200 pounds more from 87-89.
86 models also suffered from the weight gain syndrome. Some was body difference and side skirts and extra emissions crap.
