Built rb25det, 13 passes on motor, bets of 7.80@91 with no launch control.

Oops Broke Both axles after 13 passes!!

hey rb25drag, do you mind sharing the wheel/tire setup you're running? doesn't look like you had to pull or roll the fenders.... I'm getting ready to purchase some rims and tires for my s13 coupe and want to make sure i get the right setup... looking at 16x8 wheels with a +20mm offset and 255/50/16 mickey's...

hes running what use to be on my car. info should be all above but... 15x8 rear 5.5 backspacing. 3.5 up front, only backspacing available...

are you referring to the welds? or the 5zigen wheels? I was asking mainly on the 5zigen wheels.... but thanks for the info, would you happen to know the tire size?

the 5zigens are on my car... lol we swapped. the 5zigens are 17x8 front 17x9 rear. If your gonna go tot the track alot, grab the welds, itll be more worth it, youll get better times

either way, welds had a 275 50 15 Drag Radial and the 5zigens now have a 275/45/17 drag radial.

thanks for the info man, not a whole lot of 240 guys into going in a straight line, so this info was harder to find than i thought LOLas for my car, its going to be dd for the most part.

Sorry dude I have not been on here in a while. I have been non stop daylight to dark for the past 2 months. Phil is correct You are better off with the welds if you Drag alot like I do. The 275-50;s Phil had on my welds are ok for a stock suspension car. If you running alot of power your not going to hook it on the 4x4 setup. After I lowerd my car to get better weight transfer and I zero'd out my camber the 275-50's rub the fenders now. About an inch. So Im getting the M/T Et street 255-50's and they should clear my fenders. The problem I been having with the 240's is the rear camber is alot, Its hard to get the entire tire planted. Those 275-50's measure 11inches wide, But I was only putting 7.5-8 on the ground. But with the new setup The tires read 9.5 wide and I can put evey bit of it down. So all that (Extra tire) I had before was useless weight.

thanks for the info guys....the car will be tracked 1-2 a month, will be daily driven the rest of the time... i was looking to go with 16x8's with a +20 offset and a set of 255/50/16 mickey's, but its looking like i may have some clearance issues once i dial out the camber...

HA HA!! Well mine did run until yesterday . I pulled the turbo back off and sent it to Precision. Its not right. It lags bad and it smokes out the exhaust side.

Is that were the Hell you been? The damn paint booth? LOL! I gave up on paint. Mine is chipped all to hell again. I should of waited about 4yrs before I painted mine.

Im going back to the Dyno this weekend with the propane setup. I have ran out of carb at 12psi. So now I gotta buy a bigger one LOL!
