I'm 23 and I'm a system administrator for an electrical distributor. I run their business system that manages inventory, accounting, etc. It's a UNIX system (AIX to be specific) and runs on an IBM RS/6000. I spend the whole day updating constantly changing prices and costs as well as troubleshooting different employees' technical issues.

Occasionally, I get to go out to conventions and meet people who do the same thing as me.

I hate my job and love my vehicles...1993 Nissan 240SX SE and 2001 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg Edition 1.8T. I love to drive in the country long-distances, particularly in the 240. My Jetta stays parked almost 99% of the time.

Dayum, most of you guys are pretty young or I am just old, lol. Anyway, 34 and I have been a mobile electronics installation technicion for about 12 year. Oh, that means that I install car audio/video/security/remote starts etc... Just about one year ago, my buddy and I partnered up and opened out own shop expanding it to sport compact accessories and performance parts. All I can say about pay is....owning your own business in it's infancy sucks

NismoGriff, glad to see someone else who remembers when these cars were new and probably had to wait until they were cheap enough to buy. I'm 30 and hopefully will finally complete my training as a counseling psychologist this year. I'm in the process of moving from Hattiesburg, MS to Wichita, KS for my internship (its like a residency for MDs).

18, I start selling parts for the cars you sell on August 1st. I am currently a contract based handyman and I ask for $10/hr cash. Although my next job I'm asking for $11. Oh, and it my spare time I am a page at a Library for $7/hr.

I am a 17 year old working at a fish market. It might sound nasty but $15 an hour is worth it and they pay cash.

Yea, I'm pretty sure I got you beat on the $ per hour rate. I get $5.65 a hour being a Photo Lab tech, and I've been there a year with one raise.

What does premium cost in Wisconson? I'm pretty sure you can buy more gas per hour of work than a California minimum wage worker. Locally, it's $2.89/gallon.

I'm 24, a father of 3, living quite comfortably as union warehouse worker and pro boxer, Kinda funny cause everyone around me cant figure out why I garged the lowrider, let wifey push the 300c while I whip a 93 eagle vision to work and the gym, and why I bought a s13 for my b-day? they really cant get! I guess they think I should waste my money on a set of 24in rims for the suv...NAH I think i've outgrown the flash!

Just cause u have kids dont mean you cant play, just adapt I'm living proof!

I work at the Saturn/GM/Honda Complex here in town, lot porting, detail, shuttle driving, parts runner. 7 an hour 7:30 am to 5:00 pm monday to friday and alternate saturdays..... God i hate saturns so much, its so great to get back into the 240 at the end of the day.... But getting 600+ every two weeks is nice.

Its all worth what i am about to use my money for though! RB25DET style y0!

I currently work at a factory (masonite owned) that builds doors for Lowes...(good pay, good hours, retarded bosses). In the fall I'll will be taking a 20week welding course, so I f someone needs intercooler piping I might be able to hook them up later (once I learn how)....

Office Space anyone?I have never worked a 9-5, and don't plan on it. I am currently in the process of opening up an online JDM parts store (Diablo, Inc- look out for it within the next year), in addition, I sell stamps on eBay - may be a little geeky, but I've made up to $1,800 off of one stamp and $10,000 on a collection of stamps. Looking to get into real estate, auto body work, and doing a little more stock market investment. It's really great to be able to make a few thousand dollars for spending just a few hours of time online. Don't get me wrong though, it's not all that easy, I've been eBaying for the past 6 years now, and it's really developed into a great place to start and expand on commercial activity, and in my case, collectibles seem to work pretty damn well. Again, don't forget to look out for Diablo, Inc- I'm in the process of contracting an individual in Japan to start shipping JDM parts, specializing in RX-7s (Used to own a '93) and 240's (Current owner of '97).
