Just out of curiosity, I wanna see how our 240sx community runs in 1/4. IF you have a stock car, i'm guessing around 16.5 so vote accurately, please. No flaming aloud, that goes to all "responsible" mods as well.

P.S if your car is in the shop, reply back to this post. Mine is.Your car 1/4 mile time.

16.00 - 16.99? Oh ye of little faith. Hmm, nevermind, that sounds about right. Wait a minute, my old Civic could run consistant 15's all day long. I have the timeslips to prove it, back in the days when drag racing Hondas was the "cool" thing to do (1999).

Well, I'm an "irresponsible" mod, so I guess that means I can vote...

Best guess is in the low-to mid 15-second range, which I'll confirm at SpeedWorld in a few weeks.... :D

what was that supposed to mean? I know you are stubborn and irresponsible...but I didn't say anything about particular person that cant vote. Anyways...wow, 4 10's 240sx...I wonder who voted for that. I hope it's true and not a "guess".

i havn't voted yet, because my cars not done yet. Should be done on friday the 9th. I will have a baseline dyno, and a dyno at 14 psi to. But im guess it will be 13-13.99. We will see, the shop as always been wrong so far about what day my car will be done, but they gota get it right one of these times. I hope at least.

BTW - When I DO get some 1/4 mile times for my car, I'll make sure to scan my slips and not "irresponsibly" lose them... :rolleyes

These "guesses" were based on a G-Tech, which I don't trust very well - I don't think they're very accurate.

I DO agree with Azn's skepticism about the (4) ten-sec 240's.... Wonder who they are? Hmmmmm.......

I drive a stock 95 SE with 72K and I ran a 16.1. My reaction time on that run was .706 and I was racing a '00 ZX3 that had catback, intake and it was chipped. He ran 16.9 on his best run. My worst run was 16.5.

Aries, go to the LS1 boards and call some of those guys out. You don't have a 240sx anymore, you have an LS1 in a frame that's lighter than a stock corvette.

So people with an Sr shouldn't post here because they no longer have a 240sx they have a silvia? People that have ka24de's in 510's have a 240sx then? That just doesn't make sence, if it is a 240sx car chassie then it is a 240sx, regardless of the engine.
