So I'm coming home from my boys job after enjoying a little bit of Chinese food and i stop at the Wawa down the street from my house. An old "friend" and I use that term losly in this venting post, comes up to me and say "yo man I just got a 240 exactlly like that one. Pu**y why you trying to be like me?!" I had my car for about a year and a half now and he just got his, riiiiiiiiiiiiight! So i told him i lowered it with KYB gas shocks and Eibach pros injen intake, stillen rotors, and project u pads on the way." The smart *** goes "Your full of ****, it doesn't even look lowered your lieing." So i pointed to my suspension and told him to take a look. So he stands correct. (Point for me) Then he goes, "when are you going to do anything to your motor?" I told him im trying to build an all motor first and then go turbo cometime in Jan-March. So he comes back with no your not, you've been saying the same thing ever since highschool, your not doing **** to your car." So I replied these cars aren't like civics, everyone in there mother doesn't make parts for this car. It take time and money to build a car to the way you fit." He goes well you'll see, when a red 240 thats slamed to the ground with a SR20 motor hissen past you with hazards flash then you'll know it's me!" So I told him, your going to have a lot of comp. and I hope you have money in which case I know you don't. Young kids man, swaer they know everything.:rolleyes

I'm so glad the only other person that had a 240 back in high school was some little girl with a 5spd 90 hatch and didn't have anything done to it. The most commonly riced out cars at my school? Civic hatch and those horrible new Saturns....

lol, incase some of you dont know, that would be a horrible swap for a 240, if you could even get it to work.

its good for corollas and 5th and 6th gen celicas, but um, i think the 240 is a little heavy for a 1.6l engine, SC or not.

besides, on an I4 car, its all about turbo chargers if you go with FI.

i just dont say anything to people like that, its a complete waste of time.

yea i saw him the other night in the gym and asked him about it. he said he didnt know what i was talkin about. i did see his car tho, its nice marroon with a black bumper and some nice custom exhuast wow thats all i can say. i hope i get my turbo kit in this week like im suppose to so i can throw it on and shut him up.

im the same way luvr, when it comes to car clubs i rather be by myself cuz anyone in clubs that i have talkin to dont know anything other than neons and subs.

i havent built the motor at all. i jsut put everything back together after i took it apart cuz i thought i was goin SR. im planning on sellin the car to get another 95. i dont want the flashiness of a body kit anymore, its not my thing anymore. i still might put the turbo kit on mine if i cant find anyone to buy the car for a while and jsut get a high stall torque converter but i rather buy a 5spd. i have found a blue SE 95 5spd with 60k on it 100mi away i want but need to sell my car first
