Well tonight i decided to go out for a ride , cars clean and it looks like there are a few kids going into town to hang out. so at 8:30 pm i head out for town . after 2 close calls involveing heavy equipment not running lights on after dark i get into town and top off the fuel tank at the new gas station (i only top off at new ones) .

So i leave and roll up to a light , and some punk kid in a 96-99 civc dx is reving his engine at me , so im like what the hell i look stock why is this kid messing with me , i shrug him off and make my left turn to get on the highway out of town as town is dead and im wanting to go play on the mountain roads .

So im crusing along and this 1995-98 mustang gt 4.6 is taling me pretty close , probably eyeballing my stock exaust , rolls beside me at 55 and sits there right beside me for 1/4 mi , then takes off real hard now im thinking why is a stang picking on me , they arent supposed to target jap cars and also asking myself where that damn civic is so the stang can go play with him.

About one mile up the road i see a real WRX with chrome wheels (this guy should be shot) , he wants some too sees me coming (i do have aftermarket foglights) and hits is brakes so i can catch up to him i get on mine and stay 5 car lenghts back to let him know i dont want any . so he turns off to go somewhere else and i press on towards to mountains .

Then the damn mustang does the same thing and slows down so i can get beside him , he rolls his window down and yells something , me haveing my windows freshly tinted i wasnt about to roll mine down to see what was up , tint is more important than a stupid kid in a mustang ...

so im back home now wondering why all the sudden im getting all this attention , turbos not on now , the suspension is stock for winter , only thing thats changed from before all this was i got my windows tinted . 2 of the cars would have beaten me for sure . if they were true car people they would have known that they could spank me (and if i was turboed or not) before screwiing with me and the damn civic shoudlnt be starting stuff he cant finish

and why the hell do they think im stupid enough to race them on public streets , lets keep it legal kids , you come out to a solo event in florida and ill play , otherwise leave me alone .

shoot if i ran that stang the second time he wouldnt have had room to avoid a 90s rodeo that had blown a tire and spun coming to rest in his lane ...

maybe i even saved that couple's lives and those two kids in the stang's lives too

you know thats what i was thinking , why would you want a easy kill , its like beating up a 5 year old ...why? maybe thats why i was pissed , oh well maybe we will all meet again at the strip next summer ,my turbo will be back on with a decent intercooler then we can all play and they will all be my *****es

yup its fine . just researching intercoolers , looks like ill be running one from a 1989 supra that i found today junkyarding . matter of fact just got the intelliglo gauge needles in it tonight , they look badass , my buddy with the gti is gonna get some it looks like

never under estimate a civic, even if they look stock, there are alot of true car enthusiasts who happen to drive civics, and could care less about looks. And some kids get really fat allowances, you'd be surprised the potential of those crap *** 1.6L motors.

You should have taken that stang around the bends and leave him wrapped around a pole, I think he may have learned his lesson then.

some guys always wanna go, I see it everyday. Its up to you to keep your cool, or challenge them to a dual at the autoX, which would be alot more fun than laying low on the throttle.

Yesturday some turd in an integra was tailing me on the highway for a good while. I was in the center lane, both lanes beside me were open, and I kept slowing down, hoping he would get the picture. He didn't, so I kinda set him up to be trapped in traffic once it did catch up to us. Lotsa fun, and he was probably saying to himself, "Man, I should have passed him when I had the chance, now I'm trapped behind all these slow cars."

yup i hear ya , here in fairbanks ive grown to kow these cars fairly well , this particualr cicvc is a near stock 1.6 automatic , he hangs out at our spot with all the other civc kids on the other side of the lot , they never come over to talk to our group (the serious cars) they only come over to start stuff , case in point , one kids walked up to one of our GNX guys , said his civic could smoke his GNX , this civc was a shoc 1.6 5 speed , very sad . come to find out the kid didnt know what a gnx was he just thought it was a old buick with a cool paintjob . anyway this group of kids isnt that bright and are from the wings west/apc school of speed .

amen.... doing it legal and comapering times is always more fun than worryin about running up on a minivan at 120

ok what you just said was very uneducated. a civic, a civic. ANY car can be fast. dont hate on any car.. cuz anything with 4 wheels has the potential to smoke you. My friend runs a civic.. looks stock.. stock exhaust, but he has a b16b race ported and stroked to 2.2 liters with crower pistons, rods, he has like an 8 puck racing clutch or something, and he smokes the S**T outta me, and i run an s14 with s13 engine.. front mount and all that good stuff. My friend with the civic raced a ferrari modena and smoked it.. yup thats right kids.. he smoked a ferrari. With some cash you can do anything to any car. So talk down to anything, or you could be eating your own words.

explod , read my posts you will realize i know exactly what this particular car is capable of , it is bone stock drivetrain wise with a automatic , he hangs out on the other side of our hang out , we go over and check out other people rides all the time , i give "props" to the civcs that can actualy bring it , but here espiccly they are few and far between . this car wanted to race a buick gnx with a aftermarket turbo system from "so cal turbo" this car breaks the tires loose at half throltte in second gear , it is insane there is no way in hel this civic can do anything with this gnx unless the the race is on ice ,which in a month could happen but the gnx wil be in storeage for winter by then
