The 240sx and Silvia/180s had identical stock tire setups.

Personally, for cost/benefit a good set of 225s would do you good. I've been running that width on a 16" wheel for 4 years now while running 12psi of boost.

225 - Front255 - Rear

Hooks up great. Maybe overkill for your setup. Id suggest 225 and an LSD.

I'm only running 205's. It's hard to get traction and I'm only pushing 10 psi. I should upgrade, but I drive responsibly MOST of the time. So 205's are okay for me.

It is more cost effective to run the same size tires all around and to not use use very wide tires (something like a 275). The money you save can be used to get a higher quality tire that will get you better grip than other tires that size.

But it really comes down to personal preference as you will see from the many different sizes that people have listed.

I run a 235/40/17 all around on a 17x8 +25 rim and at 12 psi and no LSD.I only spin the tires on hard lauches and when I am heavy on the gas in turns.

I have 245 40 R17's on the front and 275 40 R17's in the rear. They hook up really nice.

The rims im running are 15x9 +12mm with 275/50-15 tires. I havnt mounted them but ill be sure to post pics before the fender modifications are done. I can already say that a roll and pull will need done. The tires are huge.

I have problems with traction in first gear and second when hitting it hard with my car. If I roll onto the throttle in 1st it breaks loose everytime no matter what. Open diff and 245's don't hook worth shizzle. I'm hoping to get better traction with the S15 helical I'm getting this week and the 245's.

i am excited for my RPM based boost with an avc-r controller, hlsd and 275s in the back should grip like a MOFO and launch like a cat.
