You know what _I_ noticed? Our floormats are the flimsiest, cheapest things imaginable. Cleaned my interior yesterday and was startled at how light and flimsy they seemed, and with 1k on the car I can already see the heel wear on the driver's mat.

Do any of you have a recommendation for aftermarket mats, particularly for the stone interior on a 2011 sedan?

I also ordered the stone interior and GS exterior, since I prefer a light colored interior.
After 8,800 miles my floormats seem to be holding up okay, with no sign of wear yet.
I've had to use a carpet spray cleaner a few times on them. If I had to replace the mats, I would probably go with a somewhat darker color.
My Ram p/u has black floormats and they are real hard to keep looking clean. Mostly because if your not walking on a paved surface, where I live in FL, when you get in the vehicle, you tend to get sand on the mats.
My wife just commented yesterday that the passenger seat was getting dirty, in the G. I don't understand how it would get dirty since no one rides in the passenger seat wearing dirty clothes.

Interesting. I wonder if the mats are different in the '11 than the '10. I know what you mean about dark carpets, had them in my '05 Legacy and was delighted when they made fawn available for the blue car in '08.

On the issue of your wife and the dirty passenger seat, I'm not going there....

My 08 mats are still in good condition.

About the passanger seat dirty. If it is lighter color than you don't need dirty pans. Jeans for example are horrible for those. It leaves marks all over.My Saab had light colored seats and it looked like crap all the time had to clean it.

Mine have heel marks in my '08 but are still in good condition. I do wish there was a way to get the stitched Infiniti logo to be cleaner tho.

Yeah, I'm also concerned about the Infiniti logo on the seat backs. That's really high profile visibility and not a good place for light fabric.

I've protected my mats with ScotchGuard Carpet and Upholstery Protector, but I think wear is going to be the issue. It looks like I'll have a bald heel spot before 10K. Looking for some nice aftermarket mats already, if I can find them I may just put them in and save the OEMs for sale/trade time.

I also put scotch guard on the mats.
Yesterday I washed the car and pulled the front mats to shake them out. The driver's side does have a small dent where my heel rests, but hardly noticeable.
Most of my 8,800 miles have been put on during long highway trips. That's why the mats don't have much wear.
Last time I had the oil changed, which was the 2nd of the 2 free oil changes I got when buying the car, there was what looked like a grease spot on the passenger seat. I cleaned it up as best I could without using anything harsh. Now there is just a 1/8" round dark spot left.
I will do my own oil changes from here on out and will not go back to the dealer unless I have to, for a warranty issue.

Makes me wonder again if the '10 mats are different from the '11 ones. Do the 10's feel really light, kind of a flimsy plastic backing? That how the 11's are.
I remember the mats in my 95 Q were like high quality home carpeting, looked as good when I got rid of it as when I got it off-lease @24K.
