The water turns into ice in few seconds. My son and I was playing around. We put some water on the window outside of my house. It turned into ice in 2 seconds. LOL Most of you who live in cold climate it is not surprise but maybe Jacko or Senti can appriciate better the 40-50 degrees after they see this.

That has to be rough, in DC we've been averaging 20F (5 year low) for the past few days and water mains everywhere are blowing and people are freaking out. I grew up in New England so I am sort of accustom to the biting cold but with the wind it never gets easy to deal with. I couldn't go back the semi frozen tundra ever, I don't know how you do it.

Stay warm

Not too bad. It gives you some weird feelings on your cars tho. First few minutes the shifting, steering is lot stiffer and gives you some creepy noises. LOL

My whole family loves winter. We go out a lot. Snow gives you some good oportunity to have some fun.

Right now it is snowing. Expected snow is around 7 inches tonight. Tomorrow I'll be on the hill with my family crazy carpeting. Maybe bring my dog too. LOL I should tape that when the dog crazy carpeting with me.

what is "carpeting" as you define it? Some people might think of other things...

I was watching Discover Channel when they were in the arctic. They had a cup full of water turn into ice when they threw it....before it hit the ground.

Sorry I forget to explain. Ok crazy carpeting is the cheapest way to enjoy sliding down the hill and I must say the most fun. It is a plastic sheet thickness maybe .020 -.030 of an inch. You feel all the bump and inperfection of the hill. The crazy carpet cost you like $2.00 or so. You stop at any hill and you good to go. Really easy to wipe out on it. That's the best part.

I'll make a video how it works later today.

OMG I completely loved those things. I used to take one to school when I was in middle school. I also F*ed up my tailbone pretty bad from hitting a jagged rock. I grew up on a pretty steep hill and we used to sled down there usually to a painful stop into something solid. I don't think I would be able to move the next day though if I were to crazy carpet again. lol

That reminds me of the time we (my younger brother and I) got the bright idea to apply numerous coats of my fathers expensive cannuba wax on our 6 person toboggan to completely remove any friction. We took this to the park and the steepest part of the hill that ended in either a very long concrete staircase or dense brush that was full of garbage . We sat on it to balance the weight and took off. We hit the bottom of the hill with such speed that we cleared the first landing of the stairs and crashed into the 4' concrete pylon splitting our rather pricey sled in pieces and we both went flying. He hit the snow bank and found a tree to break my fall. Ahh to be young again or at least young at heart I was probably 18 when that happened.

Zozo,

I know that cold feeling that you are talking about. In Tampa, it got down to like 40-50 last nite. I had to turn my heater on...brrr.

I've noticed the G will creak pretty bad when cold and I have problems with the windows freezing to the rubber. The other day it was -2 when I was driving to work and I did not bother cleaning the windows off. I really want to move to a warmer location

Love the heated seats tho

I actually never had problem with the rubber and window freezing. I also love the way they designed the windshield washer sprinkles. Under the hood. Most people don't realize how good it is till sit in another car and keep having problems with it. Also the best wipers I ever had They wor awesome in hot and cold too. On my 07 I had the original ones for almost 2 years.

Almost forgot the pictures. Did not take the camcorder with me. Did not want to lose it. So I just had the camera and pictures.

Me and my son on the top of the hill.

Going down

Crashed to each other and getting up.

Me almost crashing into my wife who stands in the way and trying to take pictures of me.

My son wiped out and laughing hard.

My son posing when he got down the hill.

This may sound crazy; but honestly, I wish I can play in the snow like that once in a while and have the opportunity to go skiing and ice skating without leaving the state.

I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.

That's why I love 4 season. You don't have to go anywhere you just have to enjoy when it comes to you.

I am a happy camper here. Would not move anywhere.

I hate winter and snow expecially when the temp goes to -4F and beyond (-22F). Its been like that for almost a week now. Today it started warming up though. The only thing I like about winter is when I play hockey every sunday. But even thats in an arena

Cant wait t'ill March-April!
