NX2000 > B13 SE-R. Factory LSD and big brakes.biggie wrote:Could it at least have been a B13 SE-R?
Yep. Pretty much everything on this NX is stock and 15 years old, and it smokes my slightly modified vert. The vert is more reliable, though - there many things that are guaranteed to go bad on a B13 SR20.TurboChargedSE-R wrote:NX2000 = much more driving fun than a S13 convertible. Period. It outhandles, out-accelerates (in stock form), and out-everythings the S13.
I thought all manual NX2K's has LSD and it was an option on the SE-R. Guess I learned something today.TurboChargedSE-R wrote:For the record: Both NX2000 and SE-R came with LSD in them.
I was referring to the hardtop NX. In the grand scheme of things, it and the SE-R are marginally different.TurboChargedSE-R wrote:And for the record II: NX2000 is a little flexier than a SE-R due to the t-tops. Only when you do track days, etc. will you ever notice this.
Thanks. I had an SE-R a couple of years ago and loved it, too. I'm jealous of your VE. I'd do the swap if I had a higher mileage car and was guaranteed I'd pass emissions.TurboChargedSE-R wrote:Have fun with your NX2000. It (and the SE-R) is truly one of the world's best (and fun) cars for pure driving pleasure.
The blue one in the first post is what I bought. The Advans are staying on the vert.DeXteR wrote:So did you buy one? Where's the pixors!?
Any chance you were going south on the BW Parkway on Saturday? That was the first time I'd seen another red S13 vert on the road.krash14 wrote:man you were the onyl local i knew of.... anyway, UPDATE PICS!!!
I dunno man, I've never met an MR2 driver that wasn't a total DB. Plus, it's extremely hard to find a cheap MR2, and they have no cargo capacity. Doesn't meet my criteria at all.vroom-chirp wrote:.... to each his own, but i would have gone for an MR2 or something alittle less .... Martha Stewart ..
I think I see some hidden potential in there somewherevroom-chirp wrote:.... to each his own, but i would have gone for an MR2 or something alittle less .... Martha Stewart ..
