NX2000 > B13 SE-R. Factory LSD and big brakes.

I found out today I can hang on to the vert for a bit (I wasn't sure I could get a second street parking permit). This will give me time to fix the A/C and repaint, and then I'll sell it in the Spring.

NX2000 = much more driving fun than a S13 convertible. Period. It outhandles, out-accelerates (in stock form), and out-everythings the S13. Except putting the top down. S13 wins that one.

For the record: Both NX2000 and SE-R came with LSD in them.

And for the record II: NX2000 is a little flexier than a SE-R due to the t-tops. Only when you do track days, etc. will you ever notice this.

Have fun with your NX2000. It (and the SE-R) is truly one of the world's best (and fun) cars for pure driving pleasure.

Yep. Pretty much everything on this NX is stock and 15 years old, and it smokes my slightly modified vert. The vert is more reliable, though - there many things that are guaranteed to go bad on a B13 SR20.

I thought all manual NX2K's has LSD and it was an option on the SE-R. Guess I learned something today.

I was referring to the hardtop NX. In the grand scheme of things, it and the SE-R are marginally different.

Thanks. I had an SE-R a couple of years ago and loved it, too. I'm jealous of your VE. I'd do the swap if I had a higher mileage car and was guaranteed I'd pass emissions.

ish.. nooo!!!!!!but its okremember, the only thing that matters is your own opinion. however... picking up girls will be a tad more difficult in a nx2000... but i guess u hav a girlfriend already. i applaud your choice to pick a uncommon car though, i cant wait to see wat u do to it

The blue one in the first post is what I bought. The Advans are staying on the vert.

Yes, I have a long-term gf. Even if I didn't, I live in DC, where the hetero female to male ratio is 2:1. You could pick up a girl here even if you were 4'11" and drove a Ford Fiesta.

Yeah, DC is about 20% gay. You wouldn't believe how many military analysts are gay. When I meet a military person now, I just assume they are gay.

I finally got the bad motor mount in the NX replaced and put it through its paces yesterday. It's not hella fast, but it's not slow. It handles really well.

Any chance you were going south on the BW Parkway on Saturday? That was the first time I'd seen another red S13 vert on the road.

I dunno man, I've never met an MR2 driver that wasn't a total DB. Plus, it's extremely hard to find a cheap MR2, and they have no cargo capacity. Doesn't meet my criteria at all.
