Theres this guy by the name of nkldime on youtube that has a vg30e in his Datsun 510 and it has a 550 cfm four barrel on it. It sounds raucious. You should check it out if you haven't already. I don't know how to insert a link, but its so cool that you should put forth the effort to type it in yourself. Its on youtube and the vid is titled "datsun 510 progress".

That sounds great! Thanks it makes me want to get mine back up and running.

Are you sure that is a 4 barrel? It really looks like the same two barrel holley I have on my VG powered Monte Carlo ZX. Pause it at 0:12http://www.holley.com/0-4412c.asp

I think it IS a two barrel! All I know is that it's a Demon instead of the usual Holley 500. 500 cfm is definitely plenty for a 3 liter. I wonder how well a Holley 390 4-barrel would work? Most people use the Holley 500 2 barrel though.

Throttle response seems sharp, I dig it!

That is deffinitely a 2bbl carb. Really looks like the polished holley 500 but could be the demon. Not much difference in quality though. I think really it will need to be a little richer for power up top though.
