Really feeling bad for those who got in the car with him.
I wish I never found out - Then I wouldn't be annoyed when I hear it.numbnuts240 wrote:also, i just found out what yolo stands for last friday.
It kind of recently became a thing when rapper Drake put it in his lyrics, now young and/or stupid people are using it like some sort of justification to do retarded things.numbnuts240 wrote:also, i just found out what yolo stands for last friday.

If you listen to any radio stations that cover top 100 music, or log on to the internet to follow top stories you will know he exists.numbnuts240 wrote:RCA wrote:rapper Drake
I'm not. I'm not dumb enough to get into a car with someone who is drinking and driving. Let alone texting/tweeting on top of it. Their dumb mistake, they can suffer the consequences.RCA wrote:Really feeling bad for those who got in the car with him.
I really wish more people listened to NPR. Top 100 music does suck but I'm exposed to it when in some one else's car, when I'm in a store etc. I didn't expect you to know his lyrics, but it surprises me that you weren't aware that he existed. My guess is it has to do with geography, I live int he NJ/NY area so top 100 is hard to miss. Do you churn your own butter all the way up in Mass.?numbnuts240 wrote:the only radio i listen to is npr and classic rock, then it's all cds. top 100 music is all CRAP, so i don't even bother. but if he's something that douchey teens listen to, then i'm pretty sure i'm better off not even knowing who he is.
Hmm, you make a good point. I now feel bad for the Sentra and the guardrail he hit.AppleBonker wrote:I'm not. I'm not dumb enough to get into a car with someone who is drinking and driving.RCA wrote:Really feeling bad for those who got in the car with him.
I'm really happy he didn't take any innocent bystanders with.
Sad story. I have mixed feelings. I don't feel sorry for the tweeting driver as he was a reckless idiot. I'm relieved he didn't take out more innocent people during his "hey y'all watch this" suicide. As far as the passengers, I don't know yet whether or not to feel sorry for them as we don't know if they egged on the idiot or if they asked him to stop. If they tried to stop him, then I feel very sad for them. I also feel sympathy for all the families. They're stuck with the aftermath of stupidity.RCA wrote:http://i.imgur.com/Nw6oy.png

lol, i'm in ct. 20 minutes north of new haven, and i can hit the bronx in 1.5 hours. rap/hip hop doesn't exist to me after the 90's (save for eminem, nas, and wu tang). never churned butter, but we used to make our own grape juice growing up in new haven.RCA wrote:I didn't expect you to know his lyrics, but it surprises me that you weren't aware that he existed. However, in a way it is a good thing:
It is a singular representation of all the foolishness, obliviousness, stupidity, and mindlessness of the average young person. It is a single focus upon which I can focus my fury, and a specific symbol of those things which I can seek to defile.

Yeah, but I don't think that Latin is all that popular with the Tweet set, 'sides it doesn't rhyme...or start with YO.snwbrdr435 wrote:Isn't Yolo just carpe diem?

Not really. However, 105.5 and 104.3 are the only radio stations that can get you away from it. Hence why I dont listen to the radio.RCA wrote:I live int he NJ/NY area so top 100 is hard to miss.
I don't listen to the radio either. I am talking about other people's cars or walking into a business etc. If you walk into a barber shop, you're going to here music, if you go to a football game you're going to here music etc. What I mean is that it's harder to audibly isolate yourself in a non-top 100 bubble when you live the NY NJ area.DJ_B_Easy wrote:Not really.
