I am ordering tires for my new rims this week and have narrowed it down to 2.

Yokohama S-drive or

Toyo T1R

Any of you have any experience with the Toyos, since I know the S-drives are new and not very many people have them.

I love the look of the T1R and know about how well they perform. But, the S-drive is supposed to be a step up from the Parada Spec-2s, since the Paradas don't do very well in wet conditions.

Don't know if it'd make any difference, but the tires are gonna be 225/35/18 & 245/35/18. Please comment & Vote.

I've had experience with the yokohama's they're nice. I've heard mixed reviews about toyo in general.

As for the azenis. Yeah they're good, I like them but I don't think they're on the same level really.

The Azenis R pretty much TRACK tires. Not very good in wet conditions. Ascutallly, I don't think you really wanna have those tires on while driving in the rain.

I think I've read somewhere that the Falken Ziex's were number one in the rain IIRC.

Definitely very good in rain, yes, but not number one. I have compared the Falken Ziex 512 to a few other tires in wet weather.

Both the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 and Firestone Firehawk SZ50-EP (now discontinued, unfortunately) are better for wet handling and braking.
