Just got them. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quiet and grippy. AZHitman, I got a good deal at Discount and you're absolutely right about these tires: lovely.

I wish I had proof read the title of this thread before I hit enter but anywho....

These tires are fantastic. Although I really enjoyed the tires on the "Palm Trees and Salt Water Trip", zipping around town on roads that I am familiar with really makes the difference stand out. The other day I was on a section of the Ike expressway and accelerated to get away from some traffic. I hit an open stretch and looked down at the speedo and it read 110 mph. Man, it felt like 75 did on the old tires. Smooooooooooth! The maximum recommended inflation on these tires is 35 psi so the sidewalls must be made of titanium or something.

Just don't go as skinny as Vim did - The 245's are a V-rated tire, and are spectacular. A little more road noise but I think that's inherent with a wider tire.

My Q looks like a steamroller from the rear. :D

Actually, mine are 215's which is the stock size for a J30. I just don't type very well.

Tory - Those won't have a high enough load rating (I don't think).

Too bad you can't upgrade to a set of 16" alloys...

Interesting Thing happened I was getting ready for my trip to Lincoln, nebraska and I was having my tires balances and they noticed a nail in them. I take them to discount and they cannot repair it and since its a special order so they ended up giving me 4 new 225/60-15 95h Yk420's for a hella deal!!!! I even got them super radial force balanced (gave the guy a 20 and a case of beer) The drive to Lincoln was nice and quiet I ran into some snow they are pretty grippy I am very happy so far!!!!

Only difference I notice is since they are a harder rubber they arent quite as grippy but I can totally tell they have a firmer sidewall!

What is the biggest tire that will fit on a 90Q with stock 15" rims?

A snow update on my Yoko YK420 tires.

In a word, excellent. We have about 3" of new snow here and these tires are awesome compared to my old Goodyear HP's that still had plenty of tread left on them when replaced. They would have had me sliding all over the place or standing still when I would be trying to go in similar conditions. So far these Yokos are an excellent all season tire (and they're not even siped).
