heres the snag ya'll i bought a 1990 240sx for dirt cheap with 150,000 miles but the owner didn't really take care of it so i wanted to do the dohc swap so i found a dohc motor from a 1997 and bought it thinking it would work and a buddy of mine looked around and said that it wont work cuz of the obd1 and obd2 deal so now im stuck the motor has 60,000 miles on the dohc and i dont want to get rid of it so do you got any ideas? let me know bro i would really appreciate it thankZ!!! my email [email protected]

get an OBD I ECU and HARNESS.

dats all i gotta do? what about parts on the motor like the ac and power steering? and lines and other stuff?

they are fine. the only thing you really need to worry about is the ecu and tach.

really datz all so the swap should work out gud? because there was one thing i forgot to mention i have the ecu and harness for the 97 dohc and all i need is the gauge from a 91-93 so it will fit in the dash and work properly and it should work out good?

You just need a S13 DOHC harness and ecu, lower intake manifold sensors, S13 distributor, and a DOHC cluster. I think you will have to either get DOHC ps and ac lines, or have some made if you want those to work.
