Yo! New to 240s and need guidelines.

So I just got a 240sx from a guy on craigs list. $3500. The car is in overall good condition. Paint and body arn't bad. Motor is sick. Here is the post.

I am looking to sell my s13 hatch due to the fact it is a project and at the moment I don't have the time or money to dump into it. It does run and drive as I drive it daily. It has an rb20 swap with mild bolt ons as well. The car is reading 120k on the odometer but unsure of accuracy as the speedo does not work. Mods include tubular top mount turbo maniold, garrett t3/t04e turbo, turbo xs dual stage boost controller, 3" catback, 255lhp fuel pump, z32tt fuel filter, fmic, tophat performance upper intake plenum, and mounts, Full 5 lug conversion with z32 front brakes, stainless lines and S14 wheels.

So I love the car. Amazingly fast, Beautiful bucket seats, full interior, My Veilside carbonfiber spoiler, turbo, and all that is wonderful but the speedo doesnt work and I dont even know how to start looking for the problem. Also No AC or Heat which I dont mind because I know how to fix that for the most part. So If anyone knows how to ease the pain of not knowing how fast your going without getting tagged by the cops let me know whats up.

Are you trying to sell the car or was that the seller's post?

As for the speedo thing. The speed sensor probably isn't hooked up. Check with the guy that did the swap and ask what speed sensor is in there. More than likely, you'll need to find one from a 240 manual.

Sorry. Im new to 240s as in Ive never had one. Ive always had hondas and acuras.
And the highlighted box (thanks to infiniti_lineup) Is the craigs list post from the guy Im getting the car from.

as stated before,
it's probably the speed sensor.
I believe the z32 speed sensor will work.
someone needs to confirm though.
