I recall reading a quick way is to find the fuse to the ABS system and pull it out.

i took out the abs module in my car and replumbed the lines too, i get alot more pedal feel and response now that the fluid doesnt have to go trough the abs unit and of course the weight reduction of the unit is a bonus.

E dogg could you be a little more specific, I was thinking of doing this to my car. And besides the weight bonus why would that be the better option than the fuse?

you could go to a junkyard and find a non-abs 240. take the clutch lines from it. you catch my drift.

You could remove the wheel speed sensor on any one wheel, this will disable the entire abs system and still leave normal braking capability, although it will probably throw a fault code and turn on your mil light.

I took out the abs block, master cylinder and lines and replaced it with lines and a master cylinder from a non abs car.

why did you guys take out abs? is it cause of weight?
