yo help me with my car choking in 5th gear

car dies when i m goin 60 mph

5th gear sensor? That should only cut in at 5k rpm if I recall correctly. Can you go over 60 mph in other gears?

not really ill be smashin up a hill and it will choke out or if im burning out it will die but mostly crusing the free way it dies out every 3 to 5 minutes of driving! its driving me crazy

but to awnser your question it rarely will go to 60 in 3rd or 4th it bogs out then i have to down shift to start the car again

Next time you're driving, check to see what rpm this is happening at. Speed isn't really important, it's the rpm.

If it's bogging under load, check to see if you have a vacuum leak. Also try replacing your plugs and plug wires.

do you know if i can swap a 1990 q45 infinitie rear axle with my 1989 240sx ? for lsd?

Not sure about the q45 diff. I think it's still an r200 unit but the dimensions might be off.

Your best bet is a diff out of a J30. Depending on the year you might need axles as well.
