yet.. ANOTHER wiring problem

sob story:

i FINALLY got my car running and took it to the JDM/EDM 209 meet @ lolicup last night after the DELA HOYA assasination on PPV

lots of cars at the meet

so anyways.. after leaving the meet.. my car dies out of nowhere. bogged down and PFFFFT. nothing. lights out, no electricity. so i run to my trunk and plug my ground wire back in. happened to disconnect itself.

tried to start the car but the starter started clicking as if i was trying to use a dead battery. it couldnt have been dead as its a new optima battery.

my friend paul who happened to be driving behind me was kind enough to push my car with his car bumper to bumper so i can bump start. it started and i was on my way..

got on the freeway to go home then all of a sudden my car started boging down again. lights were fluctuating and all. i managed to make it home..

made sure it wasnt the alternator.. i had the car running then disconnected the positive end of the battery.. car still running. so its not the alternator.

BUT.. when i turn the car off.. and try to start it.. it starts as if the battery is still dead.

im stumped. but convinced its either a short or a bad ground somehwere.

??????:wat can it be?

check the connections from battery to your starter,the ground from the battery tray to the block.And check the ignition wiring under your dash.I had this problem while i was driving suddenly everything was dead and i was in rush hour. it happend to be the "on" wire in the ignition bundle under the dash/steering column. the previouse owner tried to wire in an alarm and did not solder the wires used tape, it got hot and fell apart.

i will look into that.

the previous owner had relocated the battery to the trunk and ran a monster cable to the original positive terminal hookup.. which goes to the engine bay fuse box. is it supposed to run to the starter instead?

i remember when i relocated my battery on my CRX i ran it to the starter.

im not that familiar with nissans yet

i also get this annoying buzzing sound comming from my dash.

there are a few conection at the origional terminal plug that need to be hooked up i belive these are 12volt contant power for the radio/ecu. the move to the trunk could be the problem. i have used mazda miata battery sideways and kept it up front.as for the buzzing... loose wires... could be anything that stuff bugs me too. i end up making a weekend project out of it and tear everything apart and tape anything down that could rattle. lol

BIG PROBLEM!

i added 3 extra gounds to the engine.. harmless. i take it out to drive. battery was drained cuz i was playing with the lights. so i tried to jump it with my friends 240. the battery just didnt wanna charge enough to start. resulting in bump start.

car started.. then went for a drive. turned the first corner off my block then my car starts to sputter.. then my fog lights shut off and so does my dash lights. a little further down the road my head lights and tail lights go out. and the the car starts to jerk and cut. and the pfffft.

im on the side of the road scratching my head. me and my friends push it back to my house. my other friend contiued on saying that it has happened to him before and it was either the fueses or the fuse box wiring. i honsetly am very lost now. all the funses are fine.. grounds are connected.

absolutely nothing on the car works.. except for my remote fan switch.
