Okay, after sifting through countless for sale threads, I'm going to be buying a set of wheels next month, and I'm doing a little research. Right now I have Megan Streets & rucas. Everything else is stock. I was looking at some XXR 513 16x8 +0. Will this clear everything and fit w/o a fender roll and/or pull? I don't care to raise the car back up if I will need to, it's a little to low to be a DD now. If not, what is the lowest offset that will fit in either a 15" or 16" wheel? I'm sure this has been asked and answered many times, but I can't find it anywhere. Thanks!

EDIT: BTW, I will have about a $1000 dollar budget, so if you all think of something I might like, let me know. I'm not looking to go any bigger than a 17.

No...you will need at least a roll/stretched tire, i would rock that size slammed with a 195/50/16 and an aggressive roll and light pull

why dont you want to roll your fenders? its NOT hard, a rubber mallet, ball peen hammer, a piece of thick 1.5 inch pipe and a heat gun

I'm sceered I might mess something up. Just to clarify, what is the difference between a roll and a pull? Same thing? Or is a roll just to take of the lip on the inside of the fenders? I'ma NOOB

EDIT: Would these fit with no fender mods? http://www.xxrwheels.com/sportmax_006.shtml 17x9 +20

that size with a 235/45/17 tire will still need a roll

yes a roll is just rolling the inner lip flat and MAYBE slightly flaring the fenders this is a good rollnotice how the rear fender is slightly flared

a pull is flaring the fenders anything more than that, the problem with pulling is that if your not super careful about it you will end up with a crease right above the wheel

Have you considered these 4 lug 17x9's?

5Zigen FN01RcRota P45RXXR 006Falken HanabiAxis OG Banzai Motegi Touge

You should be able to get any of these with great offsets for $800 or less. From there, you just gotta hunt down some 235/40/17's to throw on with your remaining cash. It'll be a tab bit over the $1000 budget, but not by much and it'll be more worth it, IMO...

Okay, thanks for that. Let me ask you another thing. This is the look I'm going for. Specs are 16x8 +0 with a 205/50 tire. It doesn't say anything else, but I'm assuming he has at least done a roll. Does this still not hit the fenders when you go over bumps?

If I can get a16x8 +0 wheel and only have to do a roll, then that's what I'm going with.

yes that is at least rolled, notice how the tire looks kinda square....you still have that small chance that it will rub thats why i said a 195/50/16 it will have a bit more stretch and a little bit more wiggle room between the tire and fender
