How well will a 235/50/17 fit the A/C I know that outer diameter is dead on to stock but on the stock rims will there be any rubbing issues inside ? Next question what is a good performance all season was looking at the goodyear Eagle ResponsEdge , want better than stock but not outright performance and hoping for a good wet/dry tire that is quieter on the highway . Any other tires like this but cheaper would be great, as the goodyears will be around $1300 here in Canada.

I asked about this a while back and everyone thought they would fit fine. I haven't tried it yet though, but I plan to when the stock rubber is a little more worn out. I haven't heard of anyone who has actually done this yet to make sure there is no rubbing.

think about it, if 245 / 35 20 tires fit without rubbing, why wouldn't one that's 10 mm slimmer? yes these will fit!

Offset ........ I want to use stock 17" rims and when you go to aftermarket rims you can compensate for the wider tire with different offset .

did you put your sensors from your stock tires on your new ones? If so you may have to go to dealer and have them reset the sensors and if you did not put the sensors onto your new rims that is the problem . When I put my winter tires and rims onto my car the TPMS light did not come on untill I reached a speed of about 35 mph .

the brs turanza tires that come with your 3.5 are very good tires. buying gdy response edge would be a down grade. The eagle rsa's are much better and much more dependable than the response edge but still not up to par with the brs that come standard. the brs ride and traction are both excellent for a mildly high performance tire. If you wanted to go with more performance you could move into a 225/50r17 on your stock wheel for which the best bet would be the gdy eagle f1. the f1's are way over priced and brs (bridgestone) offers the re09 potenza that comes a bit cheaper with about the same performance, but a bit more treadware rating. tires are really about how much you want to spend, and how often. pointer - don't be sold by people at tire shops cause they just push what they are told to sell. I've had the chance to visit the Conti plant in Charlotte, Gdy in Tyler, TX, Mich in Houston, TX and BRS/FRS in ft worth area and by far Michelin, and Bridgestone take the most care in constructing there tires and have fewer tires returned for warranty claim based per sale than any other tire manufacturer.i think i went off on a tangent, hope this offers something
