Hi every one. Ok so saturday night I wrecked my car. I HATE ****ing rural *** VA. Deer in road I swerve hit deer over correct *** in slides out I go sideways into a ditch, took out 30 feet or barbed wire fence and the post, then hit a tree. Well good thing is I'm fine and my car ain't totaled. I'm seriously thinking of taking my car and doing and SR20 swap into it. Ok heres my questions.

With gas prices the way they are is an SR20 any better on gas than the KA24?

I know thers an SR20DE, SR20DE-T and a SR20VE, is there a stock SR20VE-T.

If so does anyone know where I can get a front clip from a 97-98 Silvia with the lights body panels hood and every thing? Or are front clips usually just the fram members with the engine and engine bay conponents in there.

Thanks to everyone that can help me on this.

Here's some answers to some of your questions: #1. No, the SR will not be better on gas then your stock KA. The SR will be worse on gas mileage due to it being turbo'd...boost+gas pedal = less gas mileage..also the sr tends to run really rich in stock form...so it wastes a good amount of gas.

#2. No, there isn't a stock sr20vet.

I'm not sure where you can get a full front clip, but you can check these sites...they sell sr motors and are very reputable.
