Hi guys. Been lurking around looking for answers for the dreaded safety boost and I can't find the trouble.
I bought the Z last march and I can't seem to find what's causing it to just run 7psi.

here's the car's background. 2+2 with TT swap, 740cc injectors, K&N cone filter, new wiring harness, CZP 91octane chip, catback exhaust.

I've been trying top resolve my boost issue and doing researches everyday to find new answers but it feels like i'm going in circles.
I have done a boost leak test... no hissing or bubbles from hoses. Engine holds 4psi air for 30+ seconds before going back to zero.
Checked the timing and it was only 7.5 degrees so I set it to 15 degrees. Car runs better but still 7 psi.
Replaced the injector insulators and fuel filter. Fuel system is set at 40psi. Installed a gauge
Code 55 on the ecu.
Wastegates open at the same time using 6psi air.

Now, the detonation I don't really understand. Black wire to ecu has good continuity. White wire doesn't ohm against ground. I retraced it all the way back to the ecu and it has continuity. Am I missing something here? It has 3.4v constant volt when checked it at the ecu... very weird.

White wire to det sensor has 555 ohms resistance against ground.

Anything else I should check?

Thanks for the help

Finally got a cel light but it's for an O2 sensor. Code 33. I still don't know why I'm in safety boost.

Factory solenoid are unplugged since I'm running a mbc.

Check ohm resistance on coil packs, injectors, and repalce both oxygen sensors. Also make sure you test for any boost leaks. But I think more importantly doible check to see if that ECU is tuned for 740cc injectors. It doesnt matter about the octane.

Have you tried plugging the solenoids back in...

I had this dreaded issue but was actually throwing code 34 and had to relocated the knock sensor.
