Car: building street cars for me and my band of misfits

Post

Just hear me out before you condemn me for not seaching but if i dial in 50lb injectors and the 300zx MAF to my stock T25 then simply change the turbo to my pulsar T28 i shouldn't really have too much to retune as the MAF meter will read the new airflow and compasate accordingly. The reason i ask is i would really like to see how far this little T25 will go and fueling is going to be the issue besides my turbo wont be here for a week and i'm hella impatient. Let me know what ya think, especially the forum elders or guys who tune cars for a living i.e. Scott Thanks

You mean 550cc injectors? I think that's within the limit of how much an afc can adjust. Stock is 370cc? So that's an increase of 49%? Doesn't the afc also allow for an increase of 50% over stock? I'm too lazy to have a look through my manual but yeah it should work. Also remember to change the settings for the MAF from the SR to Z's properly.

No i mean 50 lbs injectors (50x10.5=525cc). And i know the settings for the 300zx MAF to SR20DET no offence but the real question is once i tune the car on the T25 and then switch to the T28 will the mass air be able to compsate for the difference withjust alittle tweaking

T25 w/ z32 afm first? Then T28 w/ z32 afm later? If so then a little bit of tuning should do it because the t28 does "almost" outflow the t25 two times from a dyno test done about two years ago on freshalloy. Anything is tunable with knowledge. Good luck.
