I had these strips laying around the shop and since the wiring was already in the mirrors:

At first I thought it would be distracting for me but it really isn't. Driver's notice it, got two "nice mirrors!" on the short drive. Definitely visible during the day (same led style I used for the day time running lights). I looked at some of the "stick on the mirror" leds but they really looked like crap. The strips I use are trim-able so if it becomes too much I'll trim them down so that the lights are just on the outer edge or something. When they are not on they are completely hidden.

LOL, anything to keep the moronic drivers in this state from hitting my baby!

Where did you install it? Is it inside of the mirror assembly.? It lights up really nice. Good job.

I was playing with my mirrors couple of months ago but i didnt finnish them,
I had 24" led blue lights inside.

Thanks. Yes, the strips are inside the housing, behind the mirrors. You have to use side firing leds otherwise they just flood the mirror cavity with light.
