Yet another J30 VSLD question

Ok have a 92 S13 and gonna get the J30 VLSD. Do I need the output shafts? If I do need them are they expensive to pick up at infiniti? Also I should use the bushings and bolts from the J30? last Im sure I can use my axles correct? I read so many posts on this that Im confusing myself. Thanks I hope this post can clairfy a lot for other people too.

I'm waiting to do the swap too but this is from a JPM S13 from what I can tell from the owner. He bought a front clip and it came with the diff. Problem is, the diff's output flanges are 5 bolts and not 6 bolts in sets of 3. So I have to buy flanges too. THey run for $150 dollars at the dealership. Once you do this, you can keep your rear axels.

it would depend on the years wether replacing the axle is neccessary... if you do get the 5 bolt flange, it's best to buy it complete with the axles in order to eliminate the hassle...

Most 95's came with the 3x2 output pattern, and all 96+ did as well. I have one for sale.. e-mail me

I did the swap awhile ago i just yanked everything out of the J30,bushings, bolts, axles, diff, everything most of the stuff i used but a couple i didn't (the rear cover and realted nuts) but it simplified the install (about 2 hours front to back)

My friend got two of them....one for him and me from a junkyard for $250 a piece. Does anyone know if I need to buy new yolks for it if I have an 92 S13?
