I took my wife's car for an oil change this AM and mentioned to the service manager that there is a metallic noise on the transmission when stopping. I played dumb and did not mention that I have read all about the CVT issues & all.
Well, they are ordering the part and will get it next week. This is the 3rd transmission (when including the original one) The previous owner (I took over his lease a few months ago) had it done and now it's our turn.
Love the Rogue, but honestly quite pleased that we are only leasing this unit!

Have they narrowed these problems down to a certain year/trim/vin? Hopefully my 2010 isn't in line for this...

No idea if 2010's are affected. Ours is a 2008 SL AWD

The majority of failures are 2008 AWD models, the reason I went with a 2wd. I sure wanted the xenon headlights though!
