Before everybody flames me and tells me to search I searched my balls off(not literally).I have a S13 blacktop its getting fuel and spark and the ECU is giving a code 55 but its still not starting. The spark plugs are a little wet with fuel and they have some carbon on the tips.I checked my injector o-rings and they looked pretty good and it seems to be in time. Please help I know everybody gets tired of seeing these threads.

If you are getting fuel and spark,id probably say check timing. Just because it is sparking doesnt mean it is sparking at the correct time!

does it even sound like it wants to start?

Leaky injector, and please, "looking" at your o-rings and other such parts does not automatically mean your parts are good. Trust me, I went through this BS on my SR. I ended up changing my o-rings out yet my old ones still looked good, but they were causing a leak. Since you said your spark plugs are a little wet, that most likely means their leaking. Replace the o-rings, allow the gasoline to evaporate by removing the spark plugs for a few hours. Don't forget!!!! Lubricate your o-rings with oil, plenty of it. Make sure you install the injectors RIGHT, don't walk them in with the caps, you have to pop them in.

Also, before you start it up again, crank it a few times with the fuel pump off by removing the fuse for the fuel pump. You also should check your compression, and recheck your timing just like 240_sex mentioned

The upper o-ring is part no. 16618-10V05. I don't know the lower one but iirc, the injector from a 91-96 TT Z32 are the same.

Mine was doing the same. Had fuel and spark at wrong time. My Crank Sensor was out 180*.

Set motor at TDC (second mark from left on crank pulley), pull Crank sensor out, then rotate the motor one complete revolution (until second mark lines up again) re-insert crank sensor. The correct way is to look for two dots on end of crank sensor. There is a small line also on the end of the sensor. Line up the dot to the right with the line. Make sure that is pointing straight up and insert CAS. Tighten it down and try it again.

Good luck!
