yet another car wont start issue

hey all

like the title states yes this is another wont start issue. basically the last time i was working on the 240 i was letting it run in the driveway and it stalled ran out of gas. so after i was dun , the car ended up sitting for a couple of weeks, before i was able to get at it again. Then 2 days ago i went and got some gas and put it and it started right up. Now the confusing part..i had left the driver side door open on accident( dont ask lol) over nite and the next afternoon the battery was dead, so i jumped it and the car was just cranking, and cranking but would not start, its getting spark, can hear the fuel pump turn on..so not sure what could be..I searched on here before posting this of coarse and came up with maybe being a timing issue,so i went ahead and checked, set to TDC and checked disty, seems ok but still cranking no start..Iam not sure about the disty being at TDC as well because being lined up with number 1 doesnt look like the picture in the distributer timing tutorial in the 240sx tech section. looks like my my disty doesnt line up with the mark, the number 1 plug wire is not directly in line like it shows in the tutorial, i put a few pics of it hopefully it can be understood.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/39899972@N07/
