I like the head and everything attached to it, and the HKS center plate is friggin worthy of winning 10 internets.

Nice setup, good to see you building it up first instead of just hurrying the project like most would do.

hahaha if you have to ask, you haven't done enough research on it. There's a few reasons why very few people have them installed and installed in such a professional way.

RBMonster - what size wheels, offsets and tires are you running? Also suspension? They fit so perfectly that I knocked the keyboard drawer off of my desk when I saw the last pic (if you know what I mean ).

Just wanted tp update my post. There have been vast changes since my last post.........I'll answer questions as best as I can. As far as cost goes, it is a complete waste of money. Said and done.....I'll sink over $20k into a 240 errr RB26. I would tell anyone not to do this swap unless you like to light your cigars with $100 dollar bills. Granted you could hack a RB26 into anything.....but it won't be pretty. I could have just dropped the motor in and been done for 7-8k, but that's not for me The block/cylinder head will be finished the end of next week.....so more pics to come. Gonna have to wait 5 more weeks for my intake manifold....but that's the only major componet I don't have.

As far as my wheels go...they're work rezax. 18x9.5 in front and 18x10 in the rear. The offset police told me to keep the offsets secret but they are as flush as it gets. I changed coilovers recently so I'll snap more pics and post em up. Car should be complete around July 1. I still gotta find someone who knows RB's to get it tuned. Keep the comments coming!

Familiar with Haltech? Cuz I haven't found anyone who wants to touch it. I've got a base map written for me by Haltech that should at least get the car started. I'm not going to boost it until it has a proper tune. I don't have a problem doing the fuel map myself, but I don't know enough about timing/RB series motors to do the job properly. If you really think you can help me out shoot me a e-mail. I just don't want someone who's been through EFI 101 tuning on my $20k project. I should be posting pics taken @ the machine shop next week. BTW I live in K-Town T.N..

Here is what we would need from you a copy of your software this is make sure you have the current software and a list of upgrades you have done to the car as well. The is to get a few base maps down before you bring your car this will help cut the tuning time in half. I also need a idea of how much you want to put down to the wheels. please email me at [email protected] the base rate for tuning is 150 per hour. this includes dyno time as well.

Who are these "offset police" that you speak of? I will have to have a little discussion/bribery session with them to leak this info to me. OR you can e-mail me and I promise not to tell.
