Doesn't his plan to raise taxes only effect those with a 250 000$/yr or more income. I am sure if you make that kind of money you are not driving an AC.

Yes, Obama says those who make under 250k do not get their taxes raised, but lets be real, if he does everything he says he wants to do, nearly everyones taxes will be rasied. And a raise on the capital gains tax is a raise on everyone who invests, regardless of income.

Also, Obama is probably the smarted politician ever, because those tax cuts he won the election on are not tax cuts at all, they are simply a tax hike on the rich and redistribute the wealth to lower income persons who dont pay income tax to begin with. He said something to the effect of well these checks are to offset social security and i think payroll taxes. its a joke to say its offsetting the former, because social security isnt exactly a tax its a premium into an insurance plan you will get when you retire.

Whatever, its good knowing politicians dont do what they say they want to do, because raising taxes and govt spending in a recession is quite a terrible idea.
