hello all, i know this topic has been debated much, but i am once again presenting it. I am going to run the walbro 255, 500 or 550cc injectors, fmic, gt28rs(s15?), man. boost controller, fpr. How should I tune for these mods(if a tune is needed from stock setup)-jwt/enthalpy or safc? If safc, should i get safcII or safc neo??-also, will i be able to tune properly with this?-i have no experience doing so, but i am mechanically inclined. I am open to all answers because i DO NOT have a preference, i just want my car to run as it should with the mods after doing so. that being said, thanks in advance!!

You'll be fine with a SAFC II but I would just get your ECU tunned by jw or enthalpy, its a lot safer. You'll also need a Z32 MAF or you're just waisting time with the injectors

ok, i just need to know. i have read too many horror stories of blown up motors due to improper tuning. yes, i will also be running the z32 maf-on that note, what is the advantage/disadvantage of q45 maf? thanks again

The advantage of the z32 maf over the q45 maf is that the z32 can withstand more hp..it is good for 500horse to be exact. And also you are not waisting your time with the injectors. The s13/14 sr's stock size injectors are 370's while the s15's stock size are 480's. If you are going to be running an s15 turbo you should put the s15's factory size injectors on or bigger. 4 370's arent enough fuel for the s15 t28. I think the 550s are a good choice over 480's (which a lot of people upgrade to) because you can boost more over the 480s and i feel they are the best size for that turbo.

Definitely go with 550cc injectors and the Z32 MAF. I'd send my ECU to Enjuku with a complete list of all modifications done to the engine and support hardware, and have that baby tuned by those guys. It is the Enthalpy tune if I'm not mistaken. I personally don't like AFC's, nor the problems of mounting them tastefully and keeping them mounted, especially if you have a stiff suspension and poor roads like we do here.

Just my 2 cents.

oh okay, sounds good. will anyone have any knowledge of a cheap(er) source to get these injectors from? also, need some help finding the hp limit of the q45 maf-found one for a fairly low price, so some assistance in pointing me in the right direction with that please. thanks all
