yes, another "wierd niose" thread

when im driving kinda hard or when i backup when the power actually gets to the wheels i have a "pinging" type of noise in the front right of my V, and if im driving really hard it will ping again when i push the clutch in.had anyone else possibly heard this from thier V

If there's nothing other than a noise (no shuddering or loss of power), my first guess would be that an inspection plate somewhere is loose.

I had a similar issue with my S-10 when it the engine was under a certain load I would hear a pinging our loud rattle. Turned out the heatshielding around my manifold was not anchored down correctly.

i would get a sound like a spring was popping when i would turn hard. i found out that on my strut bar since i put different bolts on it, one of the bolts was longer than the others (stupid guy at do-it best *shakes fist*) and i found out that one of my right struts screws (dunno wat to call em) was longer than the others, so i loosend it (still had a super tight fit) and then the popping sound of the spring was gone.

dunno if that helps but sounds like u have the same thing i did.
