My shop is selling some 20" chrome 6 lug rims with tires for $500 of a suburban. Rims and tires are mint. I know this is a good deal but do I have to mod the rims at all?

even they are 6lugs pattern not all 6lugs are compatible your car should be 6x139.7 or 6x5.5

nala,
I believe the 6 lug pattern is the same as stated 6x139.7 but I think you would need to bore out the center hub. I would also think the height of the tire would be closer to 32" which may not fit without a lift. Even if you think you can get the hub bored (assuming its needed) your best bet is to test fit one on the front of your vehicle. See if it mounts up, if it clears fenders etc. If they do need center bored, you may want to get some estimates for that also. I thought I read that some owners used Escalade wheels and had to have them bored which could also lead to center cap fitment issues. I am not expert in this though which is why I like to test fit before purchase. Good Luck and let us know how it turns or not turns.
