Alright... this one has me scratchin my head and laughing.

I own a 1990 240sx hatch back

To pop up the head lights, I had to use the left button and turn them on, cause the light switch on the just turns them on; but they stay down.

So today I hit my HI beams when the lights were down, and they popped up. Alright, thats pretty cool.

Now mind you; I've tried for about 3 months to get these lights to pop up by twisting the nob and I got nothing.

but after hitting the brights and turning the brights off, the lights now work when I twist the knob....

I am ROFLing and I am dumbfounded.Anyone know why this is happening?

just get a new switch. the headlight problem is pretty common, especially after so many years ykno? its pretty easy to install. i just went to the local junkyard and took a switch off of another car, and bam, it worked just like new. or you can spend some real money by going to the dealership

LOL thats what it is? haha ok, well then I guess its off to Ecology sometime this week... It may rain today.... (SoCal people ya know what I'm talking about)

Thanx for the info, I did a head lamp search and I came up with a few people that had this problem, but no real direct answer. I mean, it works fine now, but its good to know when that stops working where I should go.
