I was thinking of ordering the yellow 9 LED wedge bulbe for my license plate lights. Figured it would look nice/different when i get my 3000K yellow foglights. Would that be something I could get a ticket for? And do u guys think it would be to ricey?

note: I already have the hyper blue LED license plate lights

both are illegal in NY ( yellow or blue license bulb and yellow fogs ) It would nit just be a fix it ticket it would be a moving violation which will cost you a good bit.

o sorry yes i meant hyper white. they have a bluish tint to them just like the lexus license plate bulbs. I didn't install them yet because the weather has been terrible here and i am still deciding if I want the led yellow. I just don't want it to look stupid because i like a clean looking car and don't want it to be too ricey. I think i might just stay with the hyper white for now

Good idea. Yellow just will attract too much attention. I have the hyper white in mine and it gets plenty of looks and its perfectly legal

Beware of the colour (color for my US friends ). Here, both the licence and backup bulbs must emit white light (yeah, I know, normal bulbs aren't exactly white!) but that's what the law states. Our uniformed friends might give you a hard time if they spot an off-colour glow.
