The chrome color of the Nissan logo on my front grill/hood has turned a yellowish color. I'm thinking it may be due to engine heat. Anyone else have this problem? I've also noticed the same issue on the front wheels of my car. Is this due to the heat or debris from the brakes?

The yellowish/brownish color on your wheels are more than likely brake dust...are you able to wipe it off? As far as the badge, I've never heard of that. If it was engine heat causing that then you'd have more probs then that. I live in Florida where our engines get really hot and have never run into that.

That sounds more like contact with corrosive agents than anything. Or a really well-trained "watering" dog.

your wheels, front or rear, don't get close enough to any hot components to cause blistering or damage to their clear coat.

On the other hand, corrosive materials (road salt, pitch, etc.) could damage them if left on there for long enough. Do you regularly wash the car?

this is a stupid reply to ur problem but my whole car has a yellowish coat due to pollen during spring season, and if u dont wash it off religiously then it will embed itself into the paint kinda like my old white hyundai
