Yup. Just slid in from the office. On the outskirts of town it's about 1/2" and counting (just enough to make things interesting), but nothing's accumulating at my house. The parking lot for Morehead State's football stadium is right next to my office, and I wanted so badly to cut some doughnuts, but there was a KSP w/ the blue lights on within site. Some doof had slid into the guard rail. The first crash of the winter was, you guessed it, a 4x4 truck. Some people think they can drive faster just because they have 4WD. I'm gonna need to get some snow tires for one of our vehicles. It'll probably be the girlie's G20, 'cause I don't wanna take my summer tires off for the winter. That way I can have my handling on the dry days, and the fun doughnuts on snowy days.

Summer tires in snow are very very dangerous.Even with my LSD and city driving, I switched to winter tires,.10 days ago.

Yeah, summer tires are as dangerous as a ****ed cannon in snow. When I left my house to go to my office, there was nothing on the road here, but by the time I got there (only a couple of miles) the traffic was thin, fewer buildings to retain heat, etc. so the snow was sticking. If I would've known I probably would've taken the G20. Unfortunately, I can only afford to get one set of snow tires, so the G20 will probably get them. It does better on snow w/ regular all-season tires than my 240 does, plus it has ABS, and maybe LSD (not sure).

Things were pretty messed up here in Indy. We had light flurries that would melt and now the roads are freezing. The local news station said that over 100 accidents occured today. IDIOTS, I say. If no one can drive in this weather, just wait until we get snow that accumulates. I did have an idiot on I-65 today try to brake check me in his IS-300. Dude was pissed because he was not pulling away from me on the interstate at speed. I guess no one told him that when you brake check people make sure they are on your butt. I left plenty of room between our cars that I could stop in due time. What an idiot.

Brake checking in general is really damn stupid. You want ignorant drivers then mosey on down to TN. We get snow and you'd think it was a damn demolition derby.
