If that Y33 had a little more tire on the rim, it'd be the sweetest!

It probably supports multiple language displays, and with an adapter you can get most US FM radio stations (like that matters to you).

Actually, most of them have labels with some English writing on them.

I wouldn't be so sure since it was JDM only.

It looks kinda similar to the nav system you could get in the 2001 Q45.....

My "probably" was based off this type of sitings on yahoo.co.jp

That's a unit from a Japanese market Honda, that was never offered in the US. But using that type of example as the basis for my info could be erroneous.

BTW, I would nearly kill for a Double-DIN Bose In Dash MD for a Nissan/Infiniti.

Another example ...Front

Back (note "shifted" frequency range)

I could still be wrong, but this does give reason to pause??

In-dash MD! Thats freaking l33t as hell! I used to have tons of MD equipment. Sold it all when my mp3s got portable. (Didnt feel like converting mp3s to MD all the time).

That gold 2x DIN Panasonic head unit with the vaccuum tube is JDM as well. But you can choose between two adapters that get you either the upper or lower side of the US frequency. Whats most important, imho, is AM reception in an emergency -- it travels further, and its quickest for news and weather.

Look at that Honda unit, it's the freakin' trifecta, or fourfect or is it quadfecta, heck who cares, CD/MD/Cass and Aux input (insert punchline). That would bust my JDM Pathy swap from tyte to something less than tyte, whatever that would be.

Yeah, but all the navigation and maps would be In Japanese and of Japan only. The 2000 and 2001 CD based navigation was a disaster, only updated once be fore abandonment.

Radio and CD-ROM should work fine, but I bet there is no English menu option.

Ahh, we have a winner, wasn't even thinking about nav stuff as it's not why I'd want it, was thinking more along the advanced electronics or MD player stuff.

I still think there'd be English menu, but it's kind of a moot (or is it mute??) point.

Does it have voice? I dont understand Japanese. And it'd constantly tell me I'm in the ocean or a 5000 miles from Tokyo. :)
